As a working mum of two teenage daughters, I understand the exhaustion, stress, and emotional complexity that come with trying to balance life’s many demands. Parenting brings its own challenges, and raising a neurodiverse child has brought lessons that have shaped both my life and my work.
In my search for ways to care for myself and my family, I immersed myself in learning - reading, researching, listening, reflecting, and eventually completing my Holistic Counselling Certification.
What began as a personal exploration of self-care and wellbeing gradually became something more. I realised how powerful it can be when women are simply given the space to pause, speak openly, and reconnect with themselves.
This realisation led me to create Balanced Life Women's Wellness - a calm and supportive place in Snake Valley near Ballarat, where women can slow down, reflect and rediscover their own inner wisdom.
My Approach - Lived Experience and Genuine Connection
When seeking support, many people are looking for two things: professional understanding and genuine human connection.
While I hold a Master Holistic Counsellor Certification, the foundation of my practice is also built on 47 years of lived experience. I understand firsthand the realities of burnout, the emotional weight of being a working mother and partner, and the unique challenges of raising a neurodivergent child.
My commitment to you is simple: time, warmth, and a non-judgemental presence. This isn’t about being rushed or given advice. It’s about having a space where you can talk, cry, laugh, vent, and reflect without pressure.
My role is not to fix or direct your path, but to listen deeply, bear witness to your story, and gently support you as your own insight and clarity begin to emerge. Often when women are given the space to speak freely, they rediscover something important - their own inner voice.

The women who find their way to Balanced Life Women’s Wellness are often capable, thoughtful women who have been carrying a lot for a long time. From the outside, life may appear to be working - work, family, responsibilities - but somewhere along the way they have begun to feel the need for space to pause and reflect.
They may be feeling emotionally tired from always being the one who holds things together.
They may be navigating life transitions such as:
• burnout or emotional exhaustion
• changing identity in midlife
• the challenges of parenting or caring for others
• relationship changes
• or simply a quiet sense that something in life needs attention, even if they can't quite name it yet
Often they are not in crisis. They simply recognise that they need a space where they can talk openly, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. That is the space I aim to create.
Over time, my work has evolved into a slower, more intentional approach, now offered through The Balanced Path - a reflective, 4-session experience supporting women through life transitions.
If this sounds like where you find yourself right now,
you are very welcome here.
Learning and reflection are ongoing parts of my work. Here is a snapshot of my professional development and associations.
